A Rolfing® session usually lasts about 60 minutes.

Depending on your health insurance provider and any supplementary insurance you may have, reimbursement of the costs may be possible. Please check this directly with your health insurance provider or insurer before your treatment.

At the beginning of the session and throughout the treatment, I observe your body structure and movement organisation while you are standing, sitting, and lying down. This allows me to gain an individual understanding of your posture, mobility, and patterns of tension, and to observe how they change throughout the course of the treatment.

You will spend most of the treatment comfortably lying on the treatment table. Depending on the session, the area of the body being addressed, and your individual needs, bodywork may also take place while sitting or standing. Moving between different positions allows posture and movement to be directly integrated into the treatment and enables any changes to be experienced together.

Depending on the area of the body and your individual needs, I work specifically with the fascial tissue using my fingers, hands, knuckles, and elbows, as well as broad, gliding techniques.

The pressure is individually adjusted and can range from very gentle to more intensive. The aim is to release patterns of tension, enhance freedom of movement, and support the body in reorganising itself into a more balanced state and achieving better alignment.

During the treatment, I invite you to take an active role and bring conscious attention to your body. Breathing, body awareness, movement, and visualisation may be used to deepen your self-awareness and help you become more conscious of changes in both your inner experience and your physical posture.
