About Me

Antonio Flores de la Rosa

For many years, I have been deeply engaged in holistic bodywork, health, and the relationship between physical and emotional well-being. My focus is always on the person as a whole – with their individual story, experiences, potential, and personal resources.

My journey into therapeutic work began with training in spinal therapy in Germany. It was there that my interest in the connections between the spine, body structure, posture, movement, and well-being deepened. My own experiences with this form of bodywork, along with the first treatments I provided within my personal circle, encouraged me to continue on this path and explore different forms of bodywork in greater depth.

During my travels through Europe and overseas, I became acquainted with a range of therapeutic approaches and healing methods. I was ultimately particularly fascinated by Rolfing® – Structural Integration. Working with the fascial connective tissue, exploring the body’s relationship with gravity, and viewing structure, posture, movement, and body awareness as an interconnected whole all reflected my understanding of comprehensive bodywork.

In 2005, I began my training at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado. During the first stage of the programme, I trained in Skillful Touch – a targeted form of manual work on the deeper connective tissue. Later that same year, I began offering this form of bodywork at a practice in Zurich, gaining valuable practical experience from an early stage.

Further stages of training at the Rolf Institute, along with intensive advanced training, took me to places including Chicago and Las Vegas. My professional development then led me to South America, including Buenos Aires and São Paulo. In 2008, I successfully completed the final stage of my training at the Rolf Institute and subsequently also worked as a Rolfer in Brazil.

After returning, I continued my therapeutic work in Zurich. From 2009 to 2024, I worked there with great dedication in my own practice as a Rolfer and had the privilege of supporting people with a wide range of backgrounds and concerns over many years.

In the course of this work, I met people of different ages and from a wide range of life situations – people with physical complaints and patterns of tension, as well as physically active individuals, artists, and people wishing to deepen their body awareness, improve the quality of their movement, or become more consciously aware of themselves again.

For me, my therapeutic development never ended with the completion of formal training. Continued learning, openness, and curiosity remain an integral part of my professional and personal journey to this day. Further training, including in Somatic Experiencing, has deepened my understanding of the interplay between the body, nervous system, perception, and psychosomatic processes, and has complemented my work over the years.

I do not see my role as changing people or telling them how they should live. Rather, I want to accompany people for part of their personal journey and support them in becoming more aware of their bodies and rediscovering their own potential, strengths, and resources.

Respect, trust, openness, and humanity form the foundation of my work. For me, listening, personal connection, and the willingness to meet each person where they are on their individual journey are just as important as therapeutic technique.

My international training, my travels, and many years of working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures have shaped me both personally and professionally. I speak German, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, and English, enabling me to communicate with people of different nationalities in their own language.

Mallorca has been part of my life since childhood and holds a special significance for me. Personal experiences, my family connection to the island, as well as its nature and the sea, have shaped me over many years. After many years of working in Zurich, a new chapter in my professional and personal journey begins here.

In Mallorca, I would like to share my many years of experience, my knowledge, and above all my passion for therapeutic work. The person as a whole remains at the heart of my approach – body, mind, and spirit, with respect for their individual journey.

Being able to accompany people through part of their life journey remains a responsible and enriching role for me. Trust, respect, and humanity are at the heart of this work.
